Mateo y Lucía.

Mateo y Lucía are two very different siblings living in Spain — and they don't always see eye to eye.

Mateo is 12 years old, lazy, chaotic and full of terrible ideas. Lucía, his 16-year-old sister, is intelligent, organised and permanently exhausted by her brother's nonsense.

Together, they somehow turn ordinary family life into complete disaster.

Synopsis

Mateo and Lucía break the fourth wall and introduce the whole crew — their dad Javier (médico), mum María (profesora de arte) and grandparents Ramón and Carmen. A gentle, warm opener that sets up the world of the series. «En casa somos seis, pero lo más importante es que nos queremos muchísimo.»

Synopsis

Lucía is having a peaceful jog. Mateo is being assaulted by footballs, dogs, cyclists and one extremely unlucky ice-cream cone — which ends up on his head. Lucía's verdict? «Qué barrio tan tranquilo.» Mateo's verdict? «Sí. Muy relajante.» Great for opinions about places, park vocabulary and a touch of Spanish sarcasm.

Mateo decides today is the day he becomes an influencer with a flawless morning routine vlog: «Me despierto a las ocho. Me ducho. Me visto con estilo.» Reality has other plans — burnt toast, milk everywhere, lost shoes, and a bus that doesn't wait. Lucía's verdict: «Tu rutina perfecta parece una emergencia.» A goldmine for daily-routine reflexive verbs and time phrases.
